Rules for University Announcements

Important issues to consider regarding the announcements prepared by ESOGU Corporate Communication Application and Research Center and communicated to faculty, staff and student groups within the University:

  1. Announcement requests should be conveyed explicatively to the Corporate Communications Application and Research Center basinhalk@ogu.edu.tr
  2. Because of additional time to preparation of announcements and redaction should be conveyed until 16.30 at the latest on weekdays. Late requests can be processed the next day
  3. It should be stated to which announcement groups (academics, all staff) the announcement is requested to be sent.
  4. The requests for the announcement of student clubs and student activities are shared with the Corporate Communication Application and Research Center after the necessary correspondence is made from the Health, Culture and Sports Department. While obtaining the permissions, the club chefs must put in for the deanship with the content of the event, visual poster and similar promotional materials. After the permit positive, the Corporate Communication Application and Research Center conducts postings from the social media accounts (facebook, instagram, twitter) with the activities section on the web page of our university.

Death - In condolences announcements;

  • Demands should be conveyed to basinhalk@ogu.edu.tr address.
  • In emergencies, demands can be delivered to the authorized Corporate Communication Application and Research Center officials. Internal 5085-5091
  • The deceased person must be a member of ESOGU (academician, staff, student) or whose first degree relative (mother, father, child, sibling). Otherwise no announcement can be made.
  • In obituary is important to state the name and surname of the person who died, institutional relationship with the ESOGU (employee or retired), the date of the death and the funeral information. In case of vehicle allocation for the personnel, the time information of the place of the vehicle must be added.

Death of retired members announcement can be made within the institution. The death announcements of the relatives of retired members can not be made
